1This is not a dating app
inaff is made specifically for making friends. It is not a dating application, not a hookup application, and not a place to meet a romantic or sexual partner. Everybody here agreed to that before they were shown a single match, and the entire value of the product depends on it staying true.
So: do not ask a match out. Do not comment on how anybody looks. Do not send a compliment that would be out of place between two colleagues who like each other. Do not treat a preference filter, an age band or a shared interest as an invitation. Do not steer a conversation towards relationships, sex, or whether either of you is single. Do not use a quest as a first date and then say you were only being friendly.
The person you were matched with did not consent to being approached that way, and they had no way to opt out of it, because the product they signed up to does not contain that possibility. That is why this is the first rule and why it carries the heaviest penalty.
Romantic or sexual pursuit of a match ends the account. Not a warning, not a strike, not a cooling-off period.
