say what happened.

This is the whole support department. Type into it like a chat — underneath, it opens a ticket with a state and a queue position, which is the part a chat window normally throws away the moment you close the tab.

FIRST LINE: OFFLINE · EVERYTHING GOES TO A PERSON

what went wrong?

Type it the way you would say it. The automatic first line is not switched on here, so everything you send goes straight into the human queue.

there is no support email

Not a hidden one, not one for urgent cases, not one in the app store listing. If you find an address claiming to be inaff support, it is not us — report it here.

An inbox has no queue and no state, so “has anyone answered this” becomes a question nobody can answer, including us. And writing to a support address from your real email attaches your real email to a support case about a friendship app, forever, in a system neither of us controls. The two codes exist so you can have a support case without having an identity.

what a person sees
  • the ticket text you typed
  • the category the router assigned
  • your account id, if you were signed in

Not your messages, not your matches, not your photos and not your location. A support agent here has less access to your account than you do.

how a ticket moves

four states.

01

you type

no subject line, no category dropdown, no priority radio. a box and a cursor, because that is the only support form people finish.

02

gemini reads it first

it answers from a fixed policy sheet and is not allowed to go past it. no guessing, no inventing a rule, no promising an outcome.

03

technical goes to a person

bugs, payments, bans, appeals, safety, legal — and anything the router is unsure about. escalation is the default on every ambiguity.

04

you come back with two codes

an 8-digit login code says which ticket. a 6-digit passcode says it is you. no account required and no email collected.

WE CANNOT RECOVER YOUR CODES

The login code is stored; the passcode is stored only as a salted hash, which means a copy of our database does not let the holder read your ticket — and it also means nobody here can read it back to you. That trade is the entire reason you can appeal a ban on this page without telling us who you are. If you lose them, open a new ticket and say what happened.
